Hi, my name is Wendy and I live with my husband, family and dogs in the rural village of Pontesbury near Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

Nettles is a professional mobile dog grooming service that operates from a professionally converted, mobile grooming van. We simply park on your drive, connect to your power supply and start grooming your canine companion to your personal requirements.

I am fully insured and City & Guilds qualified to Level 3 in Dog Grooming. I also have certificates in Canine Health, Safety and First Aid and in Salon Management. I hold the Level 2 award in Canine Ultrasound Scanning (Advanced) and the Lantra Awards Level 3 Award in Performing Microchip Implantation in Animals. I have also studied canine behaviour and psychology, canine first aid and regularly attend lectures and seminars on canine matters. I have been involved with dogs in one form or another for many years and at home have two Labrador Retrievers and three Smooth-Haired Miniature Dachshunds which keep us amused, occupied and active! We are affiliated members of the Kennel Club, inspected members of the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme, several Labrador Retriever and Miniature Dachshund breed clubs, Dogs Trust and proud supporters of Canine Partners.
